New to AI? Pick your path: make AI videos like @aiboleh, or use AI for daily work (free, 30 minutes). Step by step, in plain English.
If you got here from TikTok or Telegram and you don't know where to start, this is the page. Pick one path first:
Not sure? Start with Path B. It's free, and the way you learn to talk to AI there is the foundation for video too.
Path A: Make AI videos like @aiboleh
Every video on TikTok @aiboleh has a recipe: the real prompts, settings, credit cost and my mistakes, step by step.
1. Pick one of my videos and open its recipe (5 minutes, free). Go to Recipes and search for the video's name, or paste the TikTok link into the search box.
2. Read chapters 1 and 2 (free). Why the video worked, the tools I used and how many credits it took. It's the cheapest way to find out whether that video fits your budget.
3. Open the full recipe. Everyone gets 1 free recipe with their email. After that, RM8 for one recipe, or every recipe with Crew A.I. Boleh.
4. Set up Higgsfield (10 minutes). Tools setup shows how to sign up, which plan to pick and where every button is. My tip: generate a short clip at 720p first as a test, then make the full 1080p version.
5. Edit in CapCut. The recipe tells you the clip order, text and sound. CapCut on a phone is enough.
Want to learn how to write video prompts from the basics? The Prompt Macam Director e-book: your first video on page 9, in about 10 minutes.
Path B: AI for daily work (30 minutes)
Follow these 5 steps in order. Each one has an estimated time.
Step 1: Open one AI tool (5 minutes)
Pick just one for now. They all have a free version:
- ChatGPT (chatgpt.com): the most features, a good fit for most people.
- Claude (claude.ai): the best for writing and for reading long documents.
- Gemini (gemini.google.com): if you live in Gmail and Google Docs.
Can't decide? Go with ChatGPT. You can switch any time. Full guide: How to Use ChatGPT From Zero.
Step 2: Your first prompt (2 minutes)
Copy this, press Enter, and watch:
I'm new to AI. I work as a [your job] in Malaysia. List 5 specific things in my daily work that you can help me do faster, and show me one example for the most useful one. Answer in simple, casual English.
If the answer comes back in another language, reply "answer in English". If the answer isn't right, don't open a new chat. Reply "change part X" instead. It remembers what you said earlier.
Step 3: One sentence that changes every result (3 minutes)
The most common reason AI results feel "just okay": it doesn't know what you haven't told it. Add this sentence to the end of any instruction:
Before you answer, ask me the 3 questions you need answered to give me the best result. Wait for my answers first.
Try it on a real task you have today: a letter, an email, a caption, a plan. Then read why it works: How to Write Prompts the Right Way.
Step 4: Do one real task (15 minutes)
Pick the one closest to your life, and do it now:
- Office work: paste your messy meeting notes and ask for formal minutes. Claude AI for Office Work
- Small business: paste a customer's message and ask for a reply in their language. AI for Small Businesses in Malaysia
- Your profession: teacher, real estate agent, seller, nurse, accounts clerk. Five ready-to-copy prompts for each. Daily Work
- Home: snap 3 receipts and ask for a spending table. Tips
When a prompt works, save it in your phone's Notes app. That is the start of your own system.
Step 5: Stay consistent (5 minutes)
AI skills aren't something you learn once. They build up little by little. The two easiest ways:
- Telegram: join t.me/aiboleh for practical AI skills, sent straight to your phone, for free.
- Newsletter: subscribe below. A 5-minute read, straight to your inbox.
When you come across a word you don't understand (token, hallucination, AI agent), look it up in the AI Glossary. When you want prompts that have already been tested, open Tips.
What's next
Comfortable with text? Try Path A: open one video recipe and see how the same kind of prompt becomes a video.
If you've made it this far, you're no longer "someone who doesn't know AI". Keep going.
