Tool Use / Function Calling

The ability of AI to call outside tools (a calculator, web search, a calendar, business systems) when needed, and use the results in its answer. It's the foundation of AI agents.

Example: When you ask "will it rain tomorrow?", the AI checks the real weather through a tool instead of guessing.
